RT&L Signs a Framework Agreement with Chinese Company Guangzhou Salvage for Its Project Cargo Division

Below is the press release, available in PDF format.

The partnership will allow the Group to capitalize on the commercial network built by its management over more than three decades of experience in the Project Cargo & Chartering industry and is aligned with the Group’s broader growth strategy.

Genoa, 16 June 2026

RT&L S.p.A. (“RT&L” or the “Company”), the parent company of the RT&L Group, a global logistics provider with a strong presence in strategic markets and a comprehensive portfolio of integrated freight forwarding and customs brokerage solutions, listed on Euronext Growth Milan of Borsa Italiana, announces that it has signed a two-year framework agreement with Guangzhou Salvage (“GZS”), a Chinese company directly controlled by the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China and a provider of integrated maritime services.

The agreement is primarily aimed at regulating the cooperation between RT&L and GZS, enabling the parties to jointly participate in tenders and competitive bidding processes for projects of strategic interest across the Mediterranean region, Africa and South America.

Within the framework of this collaboration, RT&L will contribute its established commercial network and industry expertise, while GZS will make its fleet available, thereby expanding the range of international business opportunities. Projects identified from time to time will be jointly managed and coordinated by RT&L and GZS and will be governed by specific operational agreements. RT&L will act as the commercial lead and serve as the primary point of contact for customers.

The selection of GZS as a partner strengthens and further expands RT&L Group’s Project Cargo & Chartering business line, in line with the Group’s growth strategy. GZS operates a fleet of approximately 80 vessels, of which around 30 will initially be dedicated exclusively to the agreement and deployed primarily in offshore operations, wreck recovery activities and shipbuilding projects.

This partnership enables RT&L to achieve a twofold objective: broadening its offering to customers and reaffirming its strategic vision to investors, while securing access to a substantial fleet in a manner consistent with its asset-light business model.

Roberto Bizzarri, CEO of RT&L commented: “The agreement with Guangzhou Salvage represents an important first step in the growth and consolidation path outlined by the Company at the time of its listing. This collaboration is instrumental to the strengthening of the Project Cargo segment, provides significant opportunities for growth and profitability. At the same time, we remain firmly committed to expanding our other business lines, which we aim to develop with equal effectiveness.”
