RT&L S.p.A. (“RT&L” or the “Company”), head company of the RT&L Group, active in global logistics services with a strong presence in strategic markets and a broad integrated offering in the freight forwarding and customs brokerage sectors, announces the launch of a partnership with Ogyre, the first global Fishing for Litter platform, which removes waste from oceans and coastlines through the daily work of fishermen and local communities in Italy, Brazil, Indonesia, and Senegal.
The collaboration aims to make a concrete contribution to the protection of marine ecosystems through the removal of 3,000 kg of marine and coastal waste over the next 12 months, thanks to operations carried out across international coastlines and waters. The collected waste will be tracked and certified through a transparent monitoring system, enabling the environmental impact generated by the initiative to be measured and displayed on the Company’s website.
This project fully aligns with RT&L’s sustainability strategy, which is focused on promoting concrete and measurable initiatives in the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.
In an industry that is deeply linked to international maritime transport, protecting the oceans represents for the Company not only an ethical responsibility, but also a commitment consistent with its long-term industrial vision.
